This book is in two parts. I would consider the main part to be a story dedicated to each of the Dark Judges. These are grim, funny and tragic in a very short space of time. There's an efficiency to how these are told in a way that you really only see in 2000 AD and they do something new with characters who were starting to feel stale.

The rest is the start of how the world became a tomb and I liked this way more than I thought I would. There's lots of smart design touches, the art has a grim, gloomy pall over it while being clear in storytelling and there's a black sense of fun to it. Highly recommended.
