I found it extremely intense, sad but oddly inspiring. Found the narrator somewhat pathetic but was blown away by the diary portion written in the character of Sarah. Themes of love and hate and beginning and endings, quite deep so that i felt i had to read slowly and pause sometimes to absorb a point. Definitely an impactful book, one that I would definitely read again. [VAGUE SPOILER TO FOLLOW:] I only deducted the half-star because I felt there was too quick of a jump from "she's fighting belief" to "she's basically a saint."
