I can't even remember when I've read this but I would like to say
This book made me grateful Roderick isn't my brother

I absolutely love Rodrick but he's better (and hotter) in the movie.

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, but I didn't particularly like this. In Wimpy Kid #1, at least the main character and his family learn some lessons...in this one, the parents are clueless, the older brother is mean, and the main character himself is lazy and cruel. And there isn't a whole lot of "redemption." If this is an accurate portrayal of middle school & American middle-class families, I'm frightened. I won't be going on to the next Wimpy Kid books.

Rodrick is the funniest character in this series! He is so lazy that he finds the best solutions to mrs heflleys parenting tactics. This whole book left me cracking up! Love it

I feel like this book was lot better then the first one he didn't seem as annoying and the swimming thing was funny Greg off to school but Greg finds out he still has the Cheese Touch from last year Rodrick is older than Greg, and is much more 'corrupt'. He manipulates his father into doing his homework and other selfish acts. Rodrick soon gets caught and gets punished. Manny on the other hand, never gets caught doing bad things

This book was another reread for me as I have not read this series in sooo long. The series is really easy to read as it is a graphic novel, and I love the nostalgia while I read this. I also recommended the series to my bf who never reads and is a very slow reader, so we will see if he picks the series up! I highly recommend this series if you want a quick, easy read!

Quotes:
- “Most people don't seem to appreciate a person as honest as me. So don't ask me how George Washington ever got to be president.”
- “Well, for starters, Abraham Lincoln didn't write 'To Kill a Mockingbird.”
- “After the presentations, we had to fill out these questionnaires. The first question was, 'Where do you see yourself in fifteen years?' I know EXACTLY where I will be in fifteen years: in my pool, at my mansion, counting my money. But there weren't any check boxes for THAT option.”
