Nice book with entertaining stories and true southern cooking recipes. My only critique is that it covers much to broad an area. Each state could be dealt with individually. The eateries presented are all intriguing and noteworthy but the overall flair is diluted by the broad geography. it also makes you really want to know what else is on the menu at these diners (guess I could look them up online).
