You can tell it’s a debut novel plot-wise, but the prose is absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to read more!

An absolutely gorgeous book, but the story falls a bit flat for me. The concept is quite intriguing, but a lot of the decisions just didn't make much sense to me and I did not feel like everything was resolved in the end. I know real life often doesn't completely resolve itself, but it could have been tied up a little neater by the end considering it is a standalone.

The age difference between me and the main character was just too big. The story would be better fitting for teenagers.

The concept of this book was really fun. The author was very descriptive in reference to the world of the stars and culture. I do think it’s helpful if you are familiar with Desi culture- I am not so parts were a little confusing. The quality of writing was beautiful and interesting in a lot of parts. There were several it felt slightly repetitive. Overall it was a cute book.
