A small, beautiful children's book about Marcus Aurelius. Gorgeous illustrations and simplifying Stocism and one of its greats. Uplifting.

A great little book that tells how Marcus Aurelius was trained to be a leader, a thinker, a learner, a reader, and a good person. The illustrations, by Victor Juhasz, are beautiful. This book will have special meaning to readers who have read [b:Meditations|30659|Meditations|Marcus Aurelius|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1421618636l/30659._SY75_.jpg|31010] by Aurelius (I recommend the Gregory Hays or Robin Waterfield translations) and know of his life story. There are subtle references to concepts he wrote later on in his journals as well as the people who shaped him, one of those includes his teacher Rusticus. This is a really good book for all ages, that should be read multiple times.
