I knew these two would end up together from the first mention of their hate for each other in the first book. 😂 This book also furthers the greater story so it was a lot of find to explore the planet a bit more and let the greater plot take more shape. 🙌

As with the other barbarian book I enjoy it for what it is. It’s very fun to listen to and I find myself falling in love with yet another alien. I will say the miscommunication did frustrate me but luckily things were worked out quick enough so I didn’t want to rip my hair out.

Josie and Haeden, my beloveds. Josie was the most relatable of the humans for me! I enjoyed her povs a lot. I love the ‘enemies to lovers’ vibe of this one! The spicy scenes here were really sweet as well. 
we also get to learn about some new wildlife in this one, which I also really enjoyed!

This was a totally cute, fun read. I had been putting it off because I thought Josie and Haeden being contrived “enemies” would be annoying as hell. But I was craving an IPB book, and expecting to be annoyed by their dynamic honestly made it better? I wasn’t let down when there wasn’t the immediate love/f@ck fest, and I do feel like it had a good payoff.
