Conversation as a game of logical exchanges for which sets of dynamic rules are assigned categorically on basis of cooperation. Starting from an intuitive point of view, and progressively rationalizing and reinforcing his proposal, Grice offers an original and well-established take on the question of divergence between formal expression and natural language and its incongruities.
