Not as rich in dragons as I had hoped but still a fun book. Adds dragons into a world in a realistic way.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Reads like what it is- a fictional memoir from a fictional natural history icon. This whole series is spectacular BUT will say it’s often a bit dry. Think that’s expected from the subject matter though. Not the most thought provoking read, but I found the storytelling unique and engaging.

isabella is kind of annoying idk like she looks down on everyone but . anyway i am DEVASTATED jacob died in my little cosy low stakes fantasy what do you MEANNNN!!!! also i feel like it was good but pacing was a bit uneven, like the introduction of the new characters right at the end was a little too convenient
