The love triangle, Beth's constant bemoaning about being single, and Lindsey not letting Emma know stuff realllly annoyed me.

Another great installment in this series. I am going to be sad when I run out of these. The characters are believable, the mystery keeps you guessing until the end, and the rest of the characters hold your attention. In this one, Lindsey's brother goes missing and foul play is suspected.

This is a decent cozy mystery series but I hate when an author does a love triangle. Hopefully it doesn't drag on for several books.

Closer to 2.5 stars because the love triangle situation was not working well for me. The series will improve when that gets sorted out in my opinion.

Latest in the Library Lovers series and so far my least favorite mainly due to the absolutely ridiculous love triangle that was front and center in this book. Lindsay's brother has suddenly come into town bringing lots of drama with him. When he is kidnapped Lindsay rallies her library friends and as well as the two men who for some reason are obsessed with her to help save her brother. If it weren't for the fact that the characters are kind of fun to read about, this probably would have been a 2.

I would love to give this 5 stars but I’m frustrated that Lindsey is friends with Robbie and would possibly be more if he wasn’t married. After finding her fiancé shtupping his assistant you’d think Linsey would be put off a philanderer with a wife, girlfriend and mistress at the same time in the last book. Enough already with this love triangle. Team Sully for the win!

To be honest, I inhaled this book more than read it. I finished the entire second half the series in 5 days so they all blurred one into the other. This book once again focused on Lindsey's personal life. Her brother Jack shows up at the library, but not by the front door. He enters through a window in the library where an hour later Lindsey finds her brother gone and a dead corpse in the room instead. The book is short and sweet. All the people that have become either love interests or friends of Lindsey's in the town of briar creek become part of the unmasking the killer. It was one of my favorite books in the series.
