Powerful short story of Pygmalion and his sculpture. It’s almost kind of sad to call it a feminist take on the myth, simply because Galatea just now has a name and thoughts. Great short story!

I want a full novel of this

What an excellent story. Very beautifully written. If a full length book comes out I will read it immediately. Even a story from the daughters perspective would be lovely.

Madeline Miller is always devastating me in all the best ways. Never gonna read any of her works without shedding tears. Two thumbs up.

I liked the idea, but it read like a rough first draft. Underwritten and very repetitive.
