maybe it's because the last few have been so good, but this one honestly just felt a bit contrived. like. all the ideas were there, but it felt like the anomaly vaults were literally pulled from thin air, and parts of the narrative that could have been fascinating were just footnoted. again, it wasn't a bad story, just a little ill composed.
