I'm on the fence about how to review this one. It's well written, despite a few typos. They didn't distract from the story. It's a very intriguing subject matter. It is short. Like the reviews say, it's a teaser. Huge cliff hanger. So many questions. I still don't know what Black Siren is. Why did she owe that guy money? Who is Sara? It was still an entertaining read. The author did a great job of making me curious, making me want more. Times like this it's a shame that my TBR is so very long and I'm not sure if or when I will make it to part 2. If you like erotic with a splash of horror, this is the book for you.

This is a tough call. I'm giving it 3 stars based on its potential. BLACK SIREN is really an unfinished story. If the story itself weren't so strong I would have gone with 2 stars.
What story there is here is interesting but it ends abruptly leaving not so much a cliffhanger as a WTF is going on. There is no resolution whatsoever. Add to that an obvious lack of editing and well, I believe my 3 stars is very generous.
I can take away that star too if the author doesn't follow up with the promised expansion to the story. If I knew now what I didn't know when I started reading this I would have waited for a complete work. This is uneccesarily rushed to market.
