Lots of female characters. <most of them die> Unusual setting, sometimes far too dense psudeo-scientific explanation. Crichton does his homework, but let's be honest... the theories of relativity begin to dilute the story line.

a really cool concept that slowly devolves into a racist+sexist shitshow. i am truly blown away by how fucking horrendously the one black character+the one female character were written
