4 chapters in and nothing happens. We find out the FMC has RA and autism but that’s it. It’s so much explanation and not enough actual plot.

This would have been such a great story- a little boring though- if not for this freaking Harry Potter cringefest. I’m sorry but it’s not cute when adults do those things Frankie did because she loooves HP so much. I’m not sure if it’s spoiler to tell you but you can imagine, I’m pretty sure all of you have someone whose an HP junkie.
On the other hand, Ren’s character was sooo well written, I’m angry about it. Maybe a little too fluffy. I’m not sure how I will ever look at a man again knowing how perfect fictional men written by women are. Like Ren was literally perfect. My dream guy. Great hobbies. Great family. Clear values. Can communicate clearly. And my age lol.

Ren & Frankie are kinda cute and dorkie together. The mutual Harry Potter & Shakespeare references were adorable.

Ren was a man who knew what he wanted and waited for her. I liked that he was all about her 100%. Even when she pushed him away - he was just there. He was so mature. Even as a virgin adult male, he took care of her in all matters.

Frankie was a bit immature IMO but that was likely on purpose, as it truly helped Ren shine.
She tried to avoid him while on her period
She pushed him away when she was sick in the hospital
She thought she wasn't good enough for his Virginity
She tried to like take his fortune cookie slip

Anyways! I liked how they tested SO MANY different cutesy nick names. It was like never the same nickname.

It was well written & I can't wait until the next one becomes available via Libby
