I’m not entirely sure I understand where this is going, nor do I like the way Haddix is handling time-travel. Not the worst book in the series, but I hope it gets better.

4.5 stars. Book 4 was far more intense than the last two in the series. Jonah and Katherine work together to overcome some huge obstacles in this installment...and the end leads you to believe the next book will be just as good. Overall, a good read. :)

I’ve always been interested by Haddix’s style of writing because it seems quiet. (That’s the best way I can explain it.) This book was another interesting story about time travel, something that Haddix manages to pull off without confusing the reader too much. It also gives you a little history lesson along the way.

Better than the 3rd I would say. Different twists here

Definitely a YA book, but still very enjoyable! I read these books about 10 years ago and am rereading them as an adult. They are still exciting and fun. This book was slightly more unrealistic than the previous books in the series.
