I want to give this 3.5 stars, but it’s not an option. I liked this book and I enjoyed this book but I wasn’t wowed by this book. The author is technically a good writer which is why I want to give her more stars but the book was insanely sloooooow and I felt like I was dragging myself through molasses to get through it most times. I liked the characters and everything, it just felt flat, like something was missing. I’ll definitely giver the author another whirl at some point and try another book, but it’s not at the top of my list of things to do.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this one. I liked the characters and I like the way they interacted and treated each other. There was potential for drama at the end, but I was relieved that they didn’t blow it out of proportion.
