Ich hab das lustige Holländisch-Deutsch von De Groot aus dem Hörspiel beim Lesen etwas vermisst, aber ansonsten gefällt mir auch das Buch sehr gut.

The problem with having multiple writers on a series like this is that sometimes character development isn't handled properly.

It got an extra star for the trick with the paintings.

I’m on a nostalgia trip, having finished re-reading the Harry Potter series, and having just begun a re-read of LOTR, so decided to read this Three Investigators mystery that I picked up at a recent book sale.

I enjoyed these mysteries as a kid and was quite fascinated with Jupiter and with their secret office in Uncle Titus’ junkyard! In this one they are involved with art forgers and a hidden masterpiece. I also like the introductions by Alfred Hitchcock and remember being intrigued by those as a child 😃

Read this in a couple of hours and it provided a welcome break from my current fantasy obsession and a pleasant return to happy childhood memories 😊
