Another amazing book in the Archibald Lox series, it keeps you gripped and keep on reading , the way it written and the characters are amazing, I cannot wait to finish of the series, each book ends in a way that makes you wanting more and you want to find out what happens next.
Darren Shan is one of my favourite author and I've red many of his books, his books are easy to read and stories keep you gripped

As I slowly wrap up the series, I find myself appreciating more and more, the world that Darren Shan created. Throughout every single book, the world and lore of the world created continues to grow bigger and bigger. It can be a little difficult to remember the names of all of the realms and people/royalty within the realms, but it's such a rewarding story.

I'm excited to continue with book eight!

While this was slightly slower to start than some of the previous outings in this series it didn't impact my enjoyment of it. Being back with Archibald and the gang was like coming home again.  There was still plenty about this world to discover however so while it felt familiar it still managed to feel intriguing, exciting and fresh. The cliffhanger at the end has also got me champing at the bit to find out what happens next.
