As a latecomer to Pathfinder, I am finding myself super-interested in the official campaign world, Golarion. Ever since I first put my hands on the Forgotten Realms box, I have loved reading campaign settings. It's going to be my pet project this year to get up to speed on all the campaign books published for Pathfinder.

This was the first Chronicles book I read, and already a huge disappointment. When I picked it up, I expected that it would heavily tie in with Cheliax and its thrice-damned House Thrune, but instead, you get highly prosaic texts about the different levels of Hell. I enjoyed reading about the Archdevils and the little bit about Asmodeus, but all in all, this book leaves me with zero hooks for actually using Hell in a campaign. I don't want to imagine the power-levels you would need to play in Hell, nor was the chapter on mortal contact with Hell comprehensive enough to create adventure hooks from it.

The prestige class of Diabolist was interesting, but is more useful for NPCs, I would reckon.

All in all, this book was all fluff and that's about it.
