Ooo! Look a novella in a series I love.

Yes please.

This was good 😊

I want to live in this world it's a great concept that I can't help thinking about all the time.

Thanks for reading

So this is a short story that takes place after Magic Strikes, written from Andrea's POV. Surprisingly, I really liked it! I don't have a good track record for liking short stories that much in general, especially when it comes to alternate POV short stories. But this was really well done, and I had no problem staying interested in the story and plowing my way right through it.

4.5 stars!

Andrea is a great character and all, but let’s be honest, I’m here for Raphael 100%!

I'm doing a reread of this series, and this is one I apparently hadn't read yet. I checked the Must Love Hellhounds anthology with authors Ilona Andrews, Charlaine Harris, Nalini Singh, and Meljean Brook from my local library (ebook version). I can't believe I missed the budding romance during my previous read. I love how this series pulls from mythology and I'm always surprised with how the story progresses working that in. Great read, also very sad.

This was a nice little filler story, I'm guessing none of it was completely necessary for the reading but just gives you a nice bonus insight into the world. I love Andrea think she is a great addition and just as kick ass as Kate. It had a couple of nice little revelations at the end that make you go ohhhh.
