Oh goodness, I really enjoyed this little gem, it definitely was far too short! Deserved at least 300 pages! But i am quite happy with what we did get.

2.5 stars. Pretty cute! A story about a baker who realises that her wife, with whom she has a cordial but strained relationship, isn't quite who or what she seems. I can't tell when or if I've ever read a superhero or masked vigilante romance, but the premise of this really intrigued me, especially with a minotaur love interest. Sadly this was just cute, and little more; no meaty worldbuilding, not a particularly unique fantasy world, with average writing, and it wasn't very steamy. I enjoyed it for what it was, but it didn't blow me away.

A sweet f/f fantasy featuring a dashing vigilante, magical confections, and one of my favorite tropes--the marriage of convenience turned true passion!

Very cute! I’d love to read more about this couple.

3 stars. Well written but meh. I was wanting more from it. The plot felt half assed and while the characters were kinda interesting this was just too short for me to care or get invested.

F/F romance. So. Cute.

There are two variants of the story in this book. The first with a not-terribly explicit scene, the second with no sexy times.

I would have loved a more fleshed out story, with more lead up to the reveal. It was too short to give a more real feel to the secret longing.

This was such a sweet and fun sapphic fantasy romance! It's a short story/novella so I don't want to say much so I don't spoil it, but I highly recommend it

  • white human w x “brown”(?) minotaur w, candymaker x vigilante, i think both lesbians?, marriage of convenience but it’s been five years and it’s still…convenient, light politics
  • a literal unmasking and subsequent coming together
  • this is a trans narrative

Fun romance featuring an established couple with a semi-arranged marriage figuring out their deal. Minotaur/human, sapphic.
