A long read with all the dense information on the Ottoman Empire. Would recommend if interested in the Ottoman Empire but be warned tons of material is in this book

I loved reading the history of the Ottomans from the period of Süleyman the Magnificent. It got me interested ever since I watched Muhteşem Yüzyıl even if the show wasn't completely historically accurate it got me interested in the golden age of the Ottomans. It was a great book describing Roxelana's life at the imperial harem, her love for Süleyman and her political influence. The book also goes in great detail about the Sultan's closest ones such as İbrahim paşa and the Sultan's children. Couldn't recommended this book more!
