If you have issues with MMF relationships as opposed to MFM, you may want to pass on this one.

This was not one of my favorites as far as the relationship was concerned. Julian, Finn, and Dani didn't have an amazing amount of chemistry. The entire way the started just didn't fit for me.

I could live with the way Dani met Julian. But, it pretty much left me with some issues? For example, why run from Finn of all people? Why was Dani so easily accepting of this lifestyle with this stranger? Why was Finn so worried about his preferences? Did he think one was worse than the other?

Another thing that bothered me was Dani's acceptance of her sister's behavior. Jimbo was a better person and more trustworthy than her sister despite what he had done. It felt off in many aspects and didn't flow for me, but other parts of the book did.

I did like the narration, but I am also a big Ryan West fan. I wish he could have read more of Julian's narrative. I am also up for any book where Ian Taggart makes an appearance, lol.

The semi-mystery, danger, and suspense were intriguing. I wish the outcome had been a little different. I wanted to see some people suffer a bit more for their behavior. Hmmm....maybe I would have fit in well at McKay Taggart.

I also wished that it hadn't taken Julian so long to get his act together. Those back and forth, hot and cold scenarios were irritating.

Not my favorite, so far, but still an entertaining listen. I would give this 3.5 stars.

I loved this story. From the very first meeting I'v always loved Julian. I had very high hopes with this book and none were wasted. Great suspense romantic and kinky just the way I like it and best HEA for Julian. Really hope Lucas gets his he really deserves it.

I have mixed feelings about this book. Julian was a character that could be indulgent in the end, but was too hard and unyielding for most of the story. Dani and Finn were too quick to fall under his spell and I feel like the timeline was a bit unrealistic. Now, having said that, I was really looking forward to watching Julian fall and he fell hard. Dani and Finn shared history but the way Finn’s sexuality was handled seemed a little difficult for me to accept. All of the characters went through struggles and came through stronger for it. There is an element in this book that played out in the previous book, but I don’t feel it is necessary to have read that book in order to enjoy this one. I love Lexi Blake and while I may have had some issues with this book, it was still a satisfying read.

Big bad Julian finds the subs he didn't know he needed!

Julian comes across as a big bad Dom whose life is run by his rules. But a vacation at the Barnes-Fleetwood ranch results in a runaway bride and her gay best friend becoming the two subs he didn't see coming. A great book that had excellent character development and a storyline that I couldn't put down!

Danny, Julian, and Finn
I quite enjoyed this story the back and forth between the three and how they all had to trust. It was a good story of give and take.
I loved that Julian was so very DOM, he is so set in his ways he doesn’t even notice how different Danny and Finn were to him until it was almost too late.

Finn and Danny together are sweet but you can tell they were missing that one thing to make them whole and that one thing was Julian.

I enjoyed the narration for the most part but when CJ. Does her male twang it just doesn’t work at all. Everything else is ok but when she does that voice it's odd.

Loved seeing Julian find his way, loved Dani and Finn, really liked Jimbo being so nice, fun with early day Taggart, neat to see Ian be emotional and share advice

In high school, Finn came out as gay, facing harassment and prejudice. In college, he realized he was more bisexual, but neglected to share that fact with his best friend Dani. Dani once had a crush on Finn, but is now settling for marrying a man named Jimbo, who she doesn't love. Discovering that her fiance cheated on her, Dani runs away from the wedding and is rescued by passerby Julian Lodge, who is friends with Dani's boss. Julian is an expert dom and recognizes the need for submission in Dani and starts to teach her -- until Finn comes to her "rescue" and Julian realizes that Finn needs a master, too.

There are similarities in the menage relationship in this book and Siren in Waiting (which I read out of order before this one), but while I thought that Bo was a jerk for friend-zoning Bethany for ten years, the relationship between Dani and Finn is much better. He doesn't take her for granted, and he's even willing to put aside his happiness when he thinks she wants to marry Jimbo. They're great together, and Julian completes them. Breaking through Julian's walls was probably the hardest job either Dani or Finn ever accomplished, but to get to the relationship they all need, it was worth it

Texas Sirens Book Three.

Julian Lodge is the owner of the hottest club in Dallas, but he requires control in all aspects of his life. Taking a vacation isn't something he does often. When he decides to visit his friend and former protege, Jackson, Julian isn't sure what to expect. However, it is not speeding off with a bride fleeing her wedding. Danielle Bay panics at her wedding and leaps into Julian's car without a thought. Thankfully, Julian takes her to Jackson's ranch where Dani knows she will be safe. She doesn't want to call her best friend because Finn Taylor is the reason she ran. As the three come together, Julian finds that he wants them both. Maybe this vacation will become more interesting than he thought.

If you're looking for a redemption story with a hint of danger and a splash of denial, this is the book for you!
