This had me stressed but I loved it.

The way Rick Riordan wrapped up each character arc and story arc was clever. I'm looking forward to reading Heroes of Olympus soon!

OKAY FAST AS BLACKJACK I DAM FINISHED THE WHOLE PJO SERIES IN MORE OR LESS THAN A WEEK!

It still grants that same exhilarating feeling and I needed the good old golden laughs (and nothing beats the classic Seaweed Brain-certified genius to offer that). I still had the same sadness with Luke and his whole story. Nevertheless, with rereading this eternal favorite, I developed the unique pride for Luke given his sacrifices and choices that I have shamefully overlooked during my first read.

Thankfully no monster has haunted me upon finishing it. Well, yet. Yikes.

This series has definitely held up! I enjoyed it just as much as an adult as I did when I was a kid. The whole series led up to this book, and the payoff is worth it.

The characters in this series are so lovable. Percy is a funny and sarcastic POV character. The series was so enjoyable to read from his perspective. This was a great coming of age hero’s journey that I’m sad has come to an end (though now there’s a new book in the series that I’ll get to read).

Now that this series has been refreshed in my memory, I’ll have to start The Hero of Olympus series to be able to get back to this awesome universe.
