I don’t know what’s with romance books and having abs on their covers! Now I feel like all the romances I have recently just have abs on their cover.

Anyway, this book actually really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be as simple and fluffy as it was. I was expecting more conflict and angst but I’m happy that there wasn’t. Sometimes you just need a romance without and conflicts, where the characters meet and fall in love . And actually talk to each other about their feelings!

There was a whole discussion on sex and when they should have sex. Even though Scarlett didn’t want to wait for marriage, I like how she and Sterling talked to each other about what they were feeling and why or why not they should have sex. It all felt very mature and well thought out. And I like that he wasn’t pressuring her at all.

Overall it was a cool 4/5 stars for a cute and fun romance between 2 very mature characters.

Okay so plus, no third act breakup and this was funny relatable and cute and romancy.

But like some of this was hell cringe, especially the beginning, and some parts Rowdy gave me the ick lmao. I feel like he got really attached really quick after they kissed idk like you’ve known her for a month and you wanna bring her home for Christmas? The timeline is weird. His reaction to her being a virgin too and laughing at first gave me the ickkkkk idk how she didn’t get shitty at him for anything.

Also why did you make his name sterling 💀 that is a hate crime I cannot believe this.

4.5 ⭐ I enjoyed every minute of this book. It's fun-lovin and hilarious not taking itself too seriously. There's no 3rd act break-up which makes me like it even more . It was just a good time.

This book was cute but nothing outstanding.

It’s starts with Scarlett going at a party her friends dragged her to. Where she ends up getting kicked out by Rowdy and they hang out on the front porch. She keeps coming back every Friday and they end up talking on the porch every time.

Scarlet and Sterling were super cute together they had really great banter but there was nothing that really stood out with this book.

After finishing this book I was so disappointed. When I started reading I thought this book was promising I thought it's going to be a funny sport romance book but they had conflicts or challenges overall boring couple anyway, this was a miss for me.
