I’m gonna keep this short and simple: for anyone coming across this review, I cannot stress reading this enough. I read it so fast and I loved everything about it. I am officially on the bandwagon with this manga and I 100% understand the hype. Lovable characters, beautiful art and a story that could bloom into an absolute outstanding piece of sapphic media. I highly, highly recommend this manga to anyone, but in particular if you’re looking for a good piece of wlw/sapphic media, this is it.
Graphic: Homophobia
I’m sorry for anyone not liking spoilers in any sense, but I feel I have to point this out: from my perspective, this deals with internalized homophobia. Not directly, but that’s honestly just my take on it. Also with self-loathing/doubting one self, but overall I get a sense that the few times it is a focus point it also, in a way, tackles homophobia and how one of the two main characters struggle with their journey of discovering themselves. But ultimately it utterly is my take on those scenes. I genuinely hope you will take the time to read it despite, it is an amazing piece of media and deserves more recognition.
