A short but cute book about friendship. Would recommend for fans of New Kid. The story focuses on how friendships are formed even when families are different. While there is a large plot point about childhood cancer, friendship and community.

I guess I wish the plot had more substance. It all felt very rushed and I understand it’s for children but I felt like if it had been longer we could have had growth of the characters and the story.
