Franco is everybody's favorite character from the original trilogy, right? This didn't disappoint, Franco is a perfect Prince Charming. Ember is cute and her magic story is interesting.

This was a fun Cinderella retelling. As usual, I missed the fact it’s the second in a series. So hopefully this helps others that prefer to read in order. Tessonja Odette made a wonderful fairytale of her own that preserved the key pieces of a well loved story. Ember is a strong female character despite the harsh life she faces. Franco is a fae prince that is striving prove himself to his sister while battle the persona others have created for him. The two meet and it is definitely not love at first sight. Very worth reading.
