This book was ok. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, either. There were a ton of wrestling terms, which probably decreased my enjoyment (as I had no clue what was going on ;) ). The story seemed to flow well, though, and the characters were fairly well developed. Just not the book for me.

I liked this book. I was a wrestling manager and cheerleader in high school, so it really brought back some memories. I was a little thrown off by the description given of the book.

The reason the main character begins starting 171 had nothing to do with another wrestler getting injured. While I was reading I just vaguely remembered what the description said, so I spent almost the entire book waiting for someone to get injured.

This might have made the book seem more intense for me, but either way I would have liked it.
