This book was kind of a slog at first, but it presents some interesting ideas in the middle! i was probably a bit too old for it, but i sure did like the parts i liked. mrs frisby was a little less girlboss feminist icon than she was in the movie, which i dodnt like so much, BUT there was also no magic in this book, which i did like! give and take
