It's alright. The book in this rare case is less enjoyable then the movie for me. It also doesn't treat women very well, despite the main character being one. She is never referred to as important outside being Jonathan's wife. The rat women are only written as homemakers despite being just as intelligent as the male rats. Not particularly fun.

I didn’t mean to re-read this today but once I had read a few lines of this beloved book I had to finish it. The widowed Mrs Frisby’s son is sick and won’t survive an enforced move. Needs must and she makes friends and faces peril to find a solution from an unlikely source.
