"Avilion," the primary work here, was simply wonderful. A lovely reinterpretation and recasting of the story into multiple voices. I had not even realized this work existed, and found it a delightful surprise.

"The Bargain" was well done, and I liked it – there's even one outstanding moment toward the end with one character calling the other one out for alliteration! But I did have a few quibbles. About halfway through, the characters' interior monologues start getting shared along with their spoken words, and I found that got a little much for my taste, plus there were two aspects of the temptation scenes that fell a little flat for me, compared with SGGK. Nonetheless, it's well worth reading and very cool to see what Dr Flieger has done with it.
