This book might have been better if they hadn't numbered it as part of Fraction's Hawkeye; the plot feels completely separate and the approach to the characters do too.
All in all, this is alright but it's hard to follow up Fraction and Aja's Hawkeye

Done with Hawkeye for now until I (maybe) start the older comics someday. Overall: 6/10

More a 3.5 but I decided to round up.
I have some mixed feelings about parts of this run under Lemire, but this volume was much better than the last. There were some pieces here and there I wasn't crazy about. Plus, I'm STILL not sure whether the timeline 30 years in the future was just a "this could have happened" or a "this DID happen", and that's confusing. But I love Kate and Clint so much, and I enjoyed the exploration of their relationship in this volume.

it just felt lifeless, the story was boring and they completely ruined/ changed Kate’s character for no reason

This one... was not as good as the others I don't think. It was an interesting book, but this one felt a little too heavy. I prefer the light, witty banter of my Hawkeyes, and I miss it. I'm sad that it's over. I want to go back and read the whole thing from the beginning just to feel that again. I get that it had to happen this way. That doesn't mean I have to like it ;)

I really liked Kate’s flashbacks and I’m sad the series is now over

This was slow at first but at the half it went up really quick.
I love Kate and Clint’s relationship, their scenes feel so real and having both of their flashback stories makes it better. And even tho it wasn’t the best part having the glance at the future was good too.
I liked the closure the arc had, it was sad but also necessary.
