Maybe more like 2.5 on this one. I'll say it was well researched as the civil war has been a topic of interest to me of late and Graham summed up Harper's Ferry pretty good. However this was also a bit of the downfall for me. Cause I went into this wanting a historical romance set during the time and parts of this were reading like a brief history lesson. Don't get me wrong I love the history, but I wanted fiction to take me away on this one and explore two people falling in love during this time.
