An old fashioned ghost/haunted house story. It’s narrated by the Always wonderful Scott Brick. It’s just a 37 minute story that was offered free from Audible in October as part of the Audible Originals program.

This was an interesting story. I think the best thing was the expressiveness of the reader. Audible Originals have been pretty good.

So... it isn't really scary, but still kinda creepy. Like it's okay to read about it, but if something like that were to happen in real life... nope, just nope. I really enjoyed the writing and the performance was great, but the story itself wasn't anything new or special.. It was short and good, but that's pretty much it.

If it was longer it could be better but it was free so can't complain I guess.. could have been much scarier...

The Narrator did an excellent job taking the reader through an array of emotions.

I found it chilling and really wish it had been longer. Really loved the author's descriptions of the landscape outside. Makes me look forward to his other work on my to-read list.
