underdeveloped characters, very little racing or even reference to the sport it was set in. they barely communicated with each other and to echo another reviewer it felt like the author was just checking off plot points without making the journey to them. it moved soo quick and you would not think it covered 2 years and 2 wdc wins

I had very high hopes for this book and I think it could have gotten there, but for me, there were some issues.

Cristian and Jasper are both adorable. But I don’t think there was enough differentiation in their personalities. They also both have a lot of internal dialogue rather than sharing their feelings with conversations or interactions with each other. Their spicy scenes began to feel forced and repetitive.

I also felt like the plot moved along as though we were just trying to hit plot points, and not move through the story in an organic way.

Overall, not a lot of warm fuzzies for me.

This was such a fun and surprisingly sweet story about two guys who appear to be tough and nails … only to show their softer sides to each other. Cristian and Jasper push each other, on and off track, til the tension between them boils over in the best possible way.
Ok, Leslie starts this story with a bang … we see Cristian crashing badly on the track and Jasper revealing to the readers that they are already much closer than anyone would think. We stepped back in time in the following chapter to get their story. A while back, Cristian literally pushed Jasper off the racetrack. The normally cool and collected Swedish guy confronted his opponent … but to defuse him, Cristian just kissed Jasper. Neither of them could get the hot hookup out of their heads, so it happened again after the next race. They took their time to get to know each other and it was the sweetest thing ever. They gave each other a safe place to explore, they understood and were able to comfort each other completely because they are rivals, because they are top contenders time and time again for the winning position. A royal who has never questioned his sexuality before … and a fiery Spaniard who leaps without looking … even though these guys literally put their lives in danger on the track, the risk almost felt more monumental off the track. Leslie was able to convey their hesitation and feelings perfectly, I was right there with them missing the other but knowing that this could all cave on them at any given moment. Once we are back in the present moment, the tension really skyrockets… but to find out what happened after the accident and how these two get their HEA, you’d have to read the book.
I was fortunate to have received a copy of this book from the author via 1852Media, and this is my honest review.

When I heard Leslie had a new MM book coming and it was about a topic I knew next to nothing about - F1? Sign me up! I love Leslie's writing and her ability to explain even the most complex ideas with ease. Do I understand more about F1 now? Yes! Will I watch it wishing Jasper and Cristian were racing too? 100%! I am obsessed with this enemies to lovers storyline and the beauty in which it grew and blossomed. Were these also some of the hottest MM scenes I have read? 1000000000% The action keeps you on the edge of your seat and the heat from the steamy scenes keeps you panting.

If you are looking for something to keep you entertained while having a great love story - this is the book for you! Grab it now!
