I've been enjoying Rick & Morty lately and I enjoy D&D so overall I enjoyed this. It's a fun crossover and story revolves around Morty trying to learn how to play D&D after being invited to play by a girl but of course Rick turns the tutorial into multiple adventures that whole family gets involved in.

I'm not the biggest Rick and Morty fan, but I have been getting back into D&D and it piqued my interest. This trade is fairly well written, staying true to both IPs. I marked out when I saw the Dungeon Master.

Ahh, what a great homage to the editions on d&d ~ Much love

Def. made by people who know the game and have a deep love for it. I especially love all the in jokes with skipping 4th, seeing certain editions of creatures, and all the d&d 80s cartoon references! My favorite part is seeing the cartoon dm change forms to people who have taken up the mantle

The art and story I really enjoyed.

This was such a fun sort of crossover comic! This was really my first Rick and Morty comic. I honestly enjoyed it so much! The jokes are one point and there's surprisingly a few heartwarming moments. If you've played a bit of D&D then you'll really get how spot on the jokes are. Of course there's the typical shenanigans you expect from Rick and Morty. I wasn't sure if I would like the art style or in the least be able to tolerate it, but the art is great.

Overall I found it to be a fun read and would recommend it to people that enjoy both Rick and Morty along with Dungeons & Dragons.
I do plan on reading the second volume at some point.

For a sequel it was good. The art was fantastic! I enjoyed the extra bit of artwork that was included, as well as the character sheets for the Ricks that appeared in the story. Speaking of the story it was alright. It was a bit slow to get into and a bit overly fluffed. It was a fun read, however; the first one is still my favorite of the two. I did like how the ending wrapped things up. I will say that while I enjoyed this series, I don't think I a third volume would be viable.
Overall, it was a great series and this was a nice read and a good way to wrap it all up.
