i was finger's breadth away from dropping this series and in 2 back to back issues the pace of the story and action has picked up .

Aquaman and Mera start their escape from the US govt wrecking havoc all through the issue showing how powerful this aquatic power couple is , making sure the readers know that they are not the mocking fish beings many old perceptions still hold them to be . All through this the Brains behind N.E.M.O is revealed a recently made ally turns up at the lighthouse with possibly something to help Arthur curry and in the end a big plot hole appears

Spoiler Aka Superman , and i am not saying Superman appearing in front of Aquaman is a plot hole, it's actually a brilliant turn of events creating buzz and excitement for the next issue , But it is a plot hole - what i am trying to point is how did the US govt manage to contact Superman , when all things considered and looking at the timeline of all stories US govt still think Superman is dead? how did the Govt get the new(old) superman's number

Besides that little plot hole it was an exciting issue which managed to create buzz for the next issue

Arthur and Mera are so fascinating. As always, love the way this play with global politics, cautiously optimistic about that final splash page.
