I wouldn’t say this book is good, but it is enjoyable at times. A comforting, easy read (though a little drawn out at times).

This is one of the rare occasions when watching the series first has not interfered with my enjoyment of the book. I prefer it the other way around, though. Good read and definitely check out the Discovery network series.

Reads like 4 stories mushed together. It has the structure of a romance and the tone of horror with all the focus of a moth in the hone depot lighting aisle. Really only finished for the twilight fix-it-fic vibes

This book was... how do I put it... loquacious. This author really loves imagery and descriptors. It was trying at times and some of it I skipped over. But I really loved the romance between the two leads. And I liked the magical aspect employed. Overall, a really good read. Would recommend. Just know that there are parts you may want to skip over because this is a really long book and we get really into the weeds. But soldier on. This is a wonderful series. And the audiobooks are 10/10.
