The one where I've had to start reading plot outlines to fully grasp what's going on

this is a tnhof level mindfuck and i'm honestly here for it. the plot felt like something out of an eighth doctor main range crossed with some deadly assassin/arc of infinity type shenaniganary, and give than those are two of my favourite types of doctor who media, i enjoyed this a lot. maybe i'm just tired, but the braxiatel art heist subplot seemed minorly unnecessary to me and just added ten minutes of plot and more confusion. also it's lovely to see narvin and the cia being held to account for being absolutely god tier cunts. fr when the cia shows up you just know the war crimes are going to be astronomical. so yeah, other than the weird bits of excess plot, i had a good time with this one :)

has certain resonances with both The Deadly Assassin and (I suspect) the Trial of a Time Lord (with which I remain blissfully unacquainted); I felt it was the thinnest of the four.[return][return](Review of whole first Gallifrey series at http://nhw.livejournal.com/838410.html)

The previous two audios didn't really do it for me - sure, there was some great back-and-forth between Leela, Romana and the K9s, but all in all it didn't grip me. This one did better.

Political thriller to murder mystery to courtroom drama. This is just wonderful with Romana and Brax stealing the show.

This is very good. Romana gets to flex some Presidential Power.
