What does ozone smell like?

The book was published 1 year after the publication of the first book from the witcher series. This one can be termed as the prequel.
I found the book interesting. It has short stories, where Geralt meets other main characters of the book series. However, this book is mainly about the world building in my opinion.
The world of witcher series is complicated: humans, elves, dwarfs, vampires, trolls, and blood hungry monsters. With this book you can get an idea as to how they all are living with each other, or not.

Should you skip it? I think since there is no major arc in this book, you can skip it. However, if you are reading a fantasy world building book, why go for half measures? Devour everything, get obsessed, then move onto something else. This is how life becomes interesting anyway.

I enjoyed the book as I was familiar with the characters after playing Witcher 3. Nice backstory.
