This was my least favorite of the trilogy, but still a good read. I think the thing that is bothering me the most about this book is the way it wraps up the trilogy. I find myself unhappy with the ending, with what it implies about women and relationships. It doesn't ring true for me in terms of the character, and there are questions left unanswered that I really feel should have been answered about Katniss' actions in the end.
The final 10% or so of the book felt rushed and wrong, so the point where I wonder if publishers or editors pressured Collins into a different ending than she may have intended. I don't think the choices Katniss made at the end were congruent with the person she had been throughout the trilogy or the person she had become by the end.
Her vote was completely out of nowhere. I will never be able to reconcile that or her final personal choice with the character I grew to love up until the very end. I will cherish the entire trilogy as a whole, but I was left wanting more... more explanation, more detail at the end, more congruency of character as the trilogy came to a close.

You could predict which characters were going to die based on how they were written but very good twist

ReRead THG. Read a detailed summary for CF & watched the film. Hoping I can still get through Mockingjay before the I watch the film tomorrow night :)

OH MY GODDDDDD. Suzanne Collins you have done it again. Constantly raising the bar for us all and doing it flawlessly. Like everything was amazing. Jaw on the floor the whole book. Loved it.
