There is no question that this author can write. I loved her writing style. The words flowed well and the story pacing was exactly what I'm looking for in a book. I appreciated how the wild-west was portrayed. Ivete was a complex character. I knew from the back of the book that she was miffed from having a fiancé who was a womanizer and has decided to have a dalliance of her own when she travels out west. I didn't love the way she went about her revenge. I thought it would be more of just flirtations, this book is 100% a clean romance, I just think Ivete was confused, hurt. Like I said, complex. I loved Thomas' character and thought he really stole the show for this book. This book resolves nicely and I would be interested in picking up another book from this author.

Thanks to the author for the copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
