Not as scary as i thought it would be. Honestly my lack of algae knowledge made it a bit hard to understand and grasp at times. With that being said i thoroughly enjoyed the writing style in this one. A majority of the story is our main character listening to a story told by a survivor of this weird algae thing. The way the author goes about writing it makes it feel as though I am the main character listening to this story in real time and i kinda love that.
