Do you enjoy food related puns? If yes, you will probably enjoy this book. Also, it is a nice story about being true yourself and not always trying to impress those around you...but mostly the food related puns.

Another adorable winner! I can't wait to use this in storytime or when I read to older kids in the summer.

Themes: food, friendship, being yourself

Genevieve has made me read this one MANY times since it was gifted to us a few weeks ago. I think it's because she has a bit of a sweet tooth AND (like me) she really loves color. The artwork is full of colorful, SASSY, and absolutely delicious looking desserts.

Everyone loves cupcake is choc full of wonderful illustrations, a lovely play on words, and most importantly, a great narrative about being yourself! Great story about acceptance and how appearance and perfection isn't the sweetest thing.

A cute little story about being yourself. I loved the wit and humor as well as the gorgeous artwork throughout. I felt a disconnect between the beginning where everyone loved Cupcake and the middle where they all didn't, but I doubt the intended audience will care.

The puns, man, the puns. I'm a sucker for some great puns and this adorable, brightly illustrated book has plenty.
