I felt like this was a pretty open and honest biography. And it was written in a totally irreverent and amusing way. Made me wish I could have drinks with the author.

It was better than a sweater.
An interesting and cool format, the best part of the book is spending time with NPH and seeing how his mind works, which comes across well. After reading it the choose-your-own-adventure way, I sat down and read it straight through as I had missed a bunch of stuff on my first go through, including the introduction of David. There's a few hidden tricks in the book if you read it every page, so I would recommend this.
I skipped over a few parts, including HIMYM, but overall really enjoyed spending time with NPH and his amazing family.

I listened to this on audiobook. Pluses about audiobook version: NPH narrates and he does a great job! Minuses about the audiobook version: the choose your own adventure style makes more sense in a written book version.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I admittedly have a really difficult time reading comedic autobiographys. For some reason the genre just does not translate easily for me... much like comic books. This one kept me entertained and was a quick and easy read. Admittedly I couldn't stand to read it as a "choose your own adventure" just because it was giving me anxiety to think of missing something, lol, so I read it straight through. I was especially excited when I found a secret in the book for just my sort of people! ;) This book gets 3 stars from me just because there were moments I was totally into it and moments where I had to push a little to get through it. Probably had I actually done the choose your own adventure it would have flowed a little better! Still liked it! :)

I love NPH because he is adorable. Some of his stories became a little precious, but I loved the behind-the-scenes view of theatre productions. I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook.
