Orphaned at a young age and raised by her grandparents, Karis Begay is a Begay wolf and destined to be the pack mother of her Alaskan pack. She takes her future very seriously so when she is away studying at the ARC, Archibald Reynolds College, she is surprised to encounter her one true mate. Having no true friends she is left to navigate the waters of mating with just her mate Damon Rossi for both advice and friendship on just what mating means. Damon, an Italian shifter sent to the US to live has never truly felt at home anywhere but with the D.O.G's, Delta Omega Gamma fraternity. Here he has brothers, but after he losses his roommate and best friend he is struggling with depression. Finding his one true mate was not on his radar and he mistakes a new pledge to the fraternity, who is caring his mates scent, as the reason why his emotions are all over the place. The journey to Karis' and Damon's mating is filled with secrets and changes that neither of them expected.

Cute story, if you haven't read any of the other books it explains enough where you wouldn't be too lost, but I would recommend reading Westin Pack so you can understand all of it. I really enjoyed this.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Karis and Damon, when they both finally worked out that their wolves were behaving differently than usual because they’ve found their true mates without even realising it. Damon’s wolf was really aggressive and he wasn’t in harmony with his wolf which was also freaking him out. Even though Karis had scented Damon she had a boyfriend and she didn’t want to hurt him plus she needed to be sure of Damon as the person who Karis mates with becomes the Alpha Heir to the Alaskan Pack and she also needed to know that he wasn’t planning on running when she got around telling him what mating her would entail and that he also would be accepting her claim for the right reasons and not to become an Alpha of a Pack.

I liked how close Damon and Karis were when they stopped fighting their bond and loved how open and honest they were with each other, especially Damon and I loved that Karis trusted him to tell the truth even before they’d bonded as they were connected at a deeper level rather early on. I loved how both Jenna and Kelsey befriended Karis and gave her some solid advice and that everything she was feeling while they haven’t completed their bond and even after they’ve completed it they won’t be able to keep their hands to themselves and it’s a completely normal reaction. I’m looking forward to reading Chad’s book next since he was introduced in Book 1 of this series. I’d recommend this book, series, Westin World Universe and author to everyone.
