What a very interesting way to put catwoman into this series. I really enjoyed the story. It got stuck in a little bit of a loop there in the middle with the story telling, but the pay off was worth it. Also some excellently drawn scenes in this one.

Simply put, it gets interesting when you put in a good Batman who is a vampire and pitted against a really evil human Joker. However, don't just treat this as your usual good vs. bad graphic novel.

One of the best Batman Elseworlds I've read thus far. Previously in [b:Batman Dracula: Red Rain|72479|Batman & Dracula Red Rain|Doug Moench|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1170815480s/72479.jpg|1577569], Batman has been affected by the vampire venom, and is wracked with the unbearable urge to feed on human blood, slowly morphing into the monster he both fears and loathes.

He finds hope in a mystery woman, Selina Kyle, here envisioned as a were-woman after being near fully poisoned by another creature of the night.

There is action and gore and even a pinch of romance aplenty but it's Batman's disintegration into utter bloodlust that is riveting to see evolve, and the effect it has on those who know him.

Batman as a vampire. My two favorite things put together. It's also much better than it sounds.
