3.5*
A collection of short stories, based on Valentines day from new and established authors.
Well I enjoyed them all, each one short enough for a nice coffe break or lunch time reading treat!
The first 6 stories are from newer or less well known to me authors and feature lots of interesting meet-cutes. From being trapped in a lift to a coffee shop pun infested meet up and an accident prone flight attendant. A couple of cupid stories and one featuring angels which are not normally a favourite but actually I enjoyed the different take.
Then the four stories from the established British authors, including updates from two of my favourite series!
From Clare London we get a quick visit with Phiz and Bryan and see how Bryan puts his Valentine present to good use!
Jonty and Orlando from Charlie Cochrane's Cambridge Fellows series have some valentine high jinks in the hallowed halls.
Sue Brown gives us a pignant fresh start for Jacob as Daniel comes crashing into his life.
And lastly, a visit to Jack and Riley in Texas! A quick Valentine's trip away means making the most of alone time, and some permanent ink.

On average, the stories came out about 3.5*. A good, valentine-sweet romance anthology.

I read this because it has a Charlie Cochrane story in it and I enjoyed that one thoroughly. The rest of the collection is fine, but nothing really stood out for me. All these stories are light and readable and nice.

Solid writing from the established authors, as expected, with all but Sue Brown writing an existing pairing.

Of the new authors, I found most of the stories to be of a good quality. The majority were cute contemporary stories with a solid dose of cupid, while one actually featured a couple of cupids.

All in all an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours even if February is long gone :)
